1868 Crane Neck L. Button Fully Restored Double
Air Chamber Hand pumper "Columbian". 98%
Original Parts, 10" Cylinders, Fully Functional
and has been pumped in the NESVFL Musters in
2011-- you may also have seen it at the 2011
SPAAMFAA Summer National Convention in Syracuse,
or at the 150th Anniversary of the Columbian
Engine Company in Spring Valley, NY. All Gold
Leafed with Brass Hand Rails and Original Cuban
Mahogany Water Box-- Approximately 6000

History-- Built in Waterford, NY in 1868, the
machine still has its Original Factory Nameplate
(#590) and was delivered to Spring Valley, NY
where it fought fires until about 1890. It was
then sold to Winchendon, Ma where it was
extremely successful in NESVFL Muster
Competitions through the 1920's and won over
$9000 in prize money. Sold Again in 1945 to
the Boston, Ma. Fire Dept., it competed for a
few years before becoming an exhibit in the
Boston Sparks Fire Museum--- sold to the Granite
Handtub Association, Inc., Newmarket, NH in 2004
where it has been restored, displayed and

- 1926 ALF type 12 pumper. 750 gpm rotary gear
pump. 2/3 restored. 99% complete. Includes
ladders, lanterns, lights, suction, etc. New
tufted leather upholstery. Not yet restored are
the fenders, hose bed and basket, suction hose
rack and gas tank. Gas tank and water tank have
been cleaned internally and coated. Have some
